Obituary of Hilda Garnica

GARNICA, Hilda “Ali”, 86, of Land O’ Lakes passed away September 1, 2008 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. She was born in Cuba and moved to the Bay Area from Perth Amboy, NJ in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Vega and her husband Carlos of Land O’ Lakes; granddaughters, Lissette Vega of St. Petersburg, FL and Tennille Vega-Springs of Odessa, FL; great granddaughter, Legend Springs of Odessa, FL; sisters, Carmen “Nena” Morales of St. Petersburg, FL, Fidelia Mujica of Melbourne, FL, Eva Montalvo of Miami, FL; and brother, Manolo Mujica of Miami, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O’ Lakes. The family will receive friends at Loyless Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Perth Amboy, NJ along side her husband Jose Luis who passed away in 1982.hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
