Obituary of Jimmy Ray Thompson

THOMPSON, Jimmy Ray, 46 of Lutz and a Tampa native, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008. He was a fire alarm installer with F.A.S.T. Alarm Systems in Wesley Chapel. He enjoyed his truck, a Dodge Ram Offroad, “built for the real offroad,” and going to car shows. He also made friends everywhere he went. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Lay. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan; two sons: Nicholas & Jackie of McCord AFB, WA, Garrison of Wesley Chapel; parents, Bud & Ruth Thompson of Brandon; brother, Howard & Tammy of Dover, FL; six sisters, Annette & Don Kruger of Tribes Hill, NY; Glenda Thompson of Ft. Worth, TX, Elaine & Walter Bennett of Tampa, Jetty & John Wickliffe of Greenville, SC, Jeanne & Tony Damato of Lutz, Julie & David Beardsley of Wesley Chapel; his grandson, Caedan; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Dutchess. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home.
