Obituary of Merced Gonzales

GONZALES, Merced “Victor”, 66, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 in Dade City, Florida. He was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and lived for many years in Boston, South End, Mass before coming to Florida in 2002. He worked in a restaurant owned by his family for several years in South End and enjoyed gardening. His is preceded in death by his grandson, Juan Angel Rivas. He is survived by his daughters, Daisy and her husband Juan Rivas of Land O’ Lakes and Evette and her husband David Rodriguez of Quincy, Mass and their mother Juana Mendez of Land O’ Lakes; his mother, Josefa Vazquez; brother, Jose and grandchildren, Omar, Ivellisse and Nathan Rodriguez. The family will receive friends Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
