Obituary of Dennis I. Braswell

Braswell, Dennis I., 63, passed away May 22, 2008. He was born in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School Class of 1963. He took great pride in his 25 year career at Independent Life Insurance Company. After retirement, he owned Armchair Video in Lutz and would often volunteer at Lutz Elementary where his wife was a first grade teacher. He is survived by his wife, Marsha of 42 years; son, Dennis Christopher and wife Jennifer; daughter Jeanne and husband Ted Fuller; brother, Michael and wife Carlena; sister, Katherine and husband John McComb; mother-in-law, Rosalie “Meme” Hansen; grandchildren Kendall Adair, Adam Dennis, Parker Dennis and Samuel Russell, all of whom were the lights of his life; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. There will be a celebration of Dennis’ life on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 509 E. Twiggs Street, Tampa.
