Obituary of Joseph B. Shattan

SHATTAN, Joseph B., 81, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Joe was born in Kingston, NY, spent most of his life in Binghamton, NY and moved to Florida in 1999. He served in the Navy during WWII after graduating from Kingston High School. He retired after 40 years as a teacher, guidance counselor and athletic coach. Joe’s outgoing personality made him a friend to all who knew him. He was a passionate tennis player and extraordinarily proud of his three sons. He is preceded in death by his brother, Boaz Shattan. He is survived by sons, Joel & wife Shanna of Yukon, OK; Mark & wife Mylinh of Lutz, FL; Michael & wife Melanie, of West Point, NY., and grandchildren, Nicholas, Theresa, Cara, Davis, Brady, Norah and Dustin.hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
