Obituary of Lawrence E. Wallace

WALLACE, Lawrence E., 73, of Port Orange, FL passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. He moved to Florida from Syracuse, NY in 1992. He was retired from Niagara Mohawk. Larry proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He enjoyed collecting Americana, but his favorite pastime was being outside and enjoying God’s creation. He was an avid dog lover and leaves behind his faithful companion Magoo. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and parents Norman & Neola Wallace. He is survived by his sons, Robert, Martin (Christine) and Lawrence, Jr. all of Syracuse NY., Michael (Pamela) of Tampa, Timothy (Christine) and Matthew (Nancy) all of Groton, CT; daughters, Cheryl (John) of Central Square, NY and Mary of Avon, NY; brothers David (Mary Agnes) and Peter (Llona) of Port Orange; eighteen grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Monday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
