Obituary of Marguerite Wilkinson Goforth

GOFORTH, Marguerite W., 85, Land O’ Lakes, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008. She was born in Columbus, GA and moved to Florida from Columbia, SC in 2007. She retired from the South Carolina State Board of Education. She was a 55 year member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes and playing bridge. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Delbert, Sr.; son, Delbert J. Jr. & wife Stephanie of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters, Rita Wilson & husband Otis of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Karen Goforth and partner Mary Allen of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Rex Wilkinson & wife Mary of Port St. Joe, FL; and 4 grandchildren, Tamara, Ryan, Kimberly & Alexander. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church on April 7th at 3:00PM.
