Obituary of Carmen Paul Volpe

VOLPE, Carmen P., 92, of Land O’ Lakes & former resident of John Knox Village, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007. He was born in River Forest, IL and moved to Florida from IL in 2003. He served in the U S Army in WW II. He retired as the owner/operator of Petersen Ice Cream Company in Oak Park, IL. He was a Eucharistic Minister of the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian in 1998, daughter, Lenore Leja, brothers, Sam Volpe, Charles Volpe, Paul Volpe, and sister Mary Campagna. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Massengale & husband Buz of Land O’ Lakes; grandsons, Walter Leja & Phillip Leja; 6 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
