Obituary of Roy Lee Burgess

BURGESS, Roy Lee, 53, of Tampa, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007. He was born in Winter Park, FL, and moved to Tampa from Orlando in 1989. He was a graduate of University of Florida and received his MBA from Rollins College. He was a hospital Administrator and an active member of Hunter’s Green Country Club, Supporter of youth baseball and scouting, past president of Deer Creek Homeowners Assoc. He is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Leiser. He is survived by his sons, Jason & Justin; mother & stepfather, Ruby & Compton Ervin of Orlando, FL. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 1:00PM at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church. The family requests friends to arrive at 11:00AM to participate in a celebration of his life. Flowers will be accepted or you may make donations in his memory to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Sarcoma Program.
