Obituary of Vincent J. Leisner

Leisner, Vincent J., 92 passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his home. He was born in New York City, NY and moved to the Bay Area from New York in 1976. He was a retired New York City Firefighter and a retired air conditioning estimator. He helped establish and managed Lutz Animal Hospital, with his daughter, Dr. Mary Leisner who died in 2003. He was a member Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Land O’ Lakes; Knights of Columbus, New York City; Moose Lodge of Lutz/Land O’ Lakes and the Lutz/Land O’ Lakes Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Alice Pritty Leisner ; daughter Dr. Mary Leisner and nephew Peter Pritty Laskaris. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia of Land O’ Lakes; sister-in-law, Alice Pritty of Albany, NY; Niece: Sister Kathleen Pritty, RSM of Albany, NY; Nephew: Dave (Kathy) Laing of Land O’ Lakes; cousins: Norman(Joan) Kayser of Bonita Springs, FL; June (Dave) Minor of New York. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
