Obituary of Frank Edward Opalinsky

OPALINSKY, Frank E., 60, of Land O’ Lakes, formerly from Vanport, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. He was employed as a Sr. Computer Systems Engineer at Syniverse Technologies, a Verizon spinoff in Tampa, FL. He was a graduate of Beaver High School, Beaver, PA, and the Computer Institute of Pittsburg, PA. His strong work ethic and love of computers carried him through a very successful career. He was Catholic by faith, served in the US Army, stationed in Korea during the Viet Nam war, and served on several homeowner association boards while living in Florida. He was born in McKeesport, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. Opalinsky & Bertha Staherek Opalinsky and an infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Suzanne (Goettman) Opalinsky of Land O’ Lakes; son, Christopher J. Opalinsky of Vanport, PA; grandchildren, Kelsey Opalinsky (8) & Tommy Opalinsky (5) whom he adored; sisters, Esther Opalinsky of Vanport, PA, Darlene Martin & husband John and their children, Luke & Emma of Chippewa Township, PA; brothers, Eric Opalinsky of Bradenton, Fl, Richard Opalinsky & wife Robin and their children, Richard A. , Lauren Opanlinsky, Aaron Pawelkoski & wife Andrea and Robby Pawelkoski of Bradenton, FL; brother-in-law, Tom Goettman, Jr. of Rochester, PA; sister-in-law Gayle Hamilton & husband Jake of New Brighton, PA; nephews, Joe & June Hamilton & family of Rochester, PA, John & Lisa Hamilton & family of Center Township, PA; lifelong friends, Ricky & Sherry Knott, Dick & Ruthie Russell; several dear uncles & aunts & cousins in the Scottdale, PA area; and a large circle of old friends in PA and many many wonderful friends & wonderful co-workers in Florida. Frank had a mischievous outgoing personality, always finding a way to make everyone laugh and stir the pot. He gathered friends wherever he went & greatly enjoyed their company. He never knew a stranger. A Visitation will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Friday Evening from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Additional services will be held in Beaver, PA and interment will be in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, PA. Flowers are accepted and/or contributions in his memory may be made to H.
