Especially for Krista's Family and Friends I can't begin to express my heartfelt sympathy in the tragic loss of Krista. I work with teens at my Church and when something happens to them it breaks my heart. Apparently God needed a new Angel in Heaven so He called Krista home for that purpose. She is no longer hurting any more and never will be again. We all can look 4ward to seeing her one day in Heaven. May God bless all her her family and friends. You all will be in my prayers. It was the summer of 2005 that Alex and I boarded the Explorer of the Seas with both our families excluding my brother and including Krista Sellars and Kristi’s friend Caitlin. The ship departed from Cape Canaveral so we took two cars, one with me Alex and my family and the other with Vivian, Orlando, Kristi, Vanessa, Caitlin and Krista. When we arrived I remember the way Krista pounced out of the car like an animated Tiger out of a cage. The minute Krista realized which ship was ours her eyes lit up with excitement, finally coming to the realization of the amazing week ahead of her. I remember looking at her and looking at the ship and giggling to myself because the ship was so large and she was so tiny. Krista was very little but don’t be fooled she was far mature for her years. There are a myriad amount of times that I looked at Kristi whining to Vivian, sorry Kristi, that she didn’t want to wake up early and get off the ship for a “dumb and boring” excursion but Krista was always up for anything. Krista and I were very different at the time. She was a girl just getting to her teen years and I was a boy that was a few years away from not being a teenager anymore. As different as we were, there was one thing we had in common. We both hated Vivian’s paparazzi ways. I remember on several occasions turning my back and walking away from Vivian when she attempted to take her camera out. Although Krista never physically walked away from Vivian like I did, I know she hated taking the pictures too. This just goes back to a point I made earlier because there were even times that Krista acted more mature than I did. Alex and I were teenage boys so what else did we do other than walk around the ship looking for girls and avoiding the family at all costs. We didn’t hang out with the girls much during the day because they were doing their own thing and so were we. Most of my time spent with Krista was at the dinner table. I loved making her and the girls laugh with my random outbursts of things I had going through my mind. She had a very good sense of humor and a smile that made your heart melt. I will never forget the day we arrived in Cozumel. It was about 6pm when Alex and I woke up and by that time everyone was back on board. I went up to the girls rooms only to see Vivian lying in bed with her shoes on, Krista and Kristi lying in their beds, and Vanessa and Caitlin watching over them. Needless to say Orlando has his hands full. Later that night was Lobster night and of course Krista was there. Vivian and Kristi never made it out but Krista was there with a smile on her face. The first thing she said to me was “I’m never drinking again.” I just laughed and we both ordered 2 lobsters. I’m glad I went on that cruise because I go to know an amazing person. She was one of the sweetest girls I have ever met and I will miss her a great deal. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this tough time.

Krista was one of my best friends during the year I spent in Land O Lakes, Florida and Pineview Middle School. Even though I moved back to California, we stayed in touch on myspace.com and still talked on the phone. She was a beautiful and kind person and I will miss her even more.
