Obituary of Carmela Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Carmela “Mela”, 38, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was raised in Merrick, NY and moved to Tampa from Long Island in August of 2000. She was a Special Education Teacher at Seven Oaks Elementary. She was an active volunteer with Mark Pinner Karate School. She is survived by her husband, Mark; son, Stephen; parents, Ann Marie & Bob Capanzano, of Tampa; sisters, Maryann DeVivio & husband Thomas of Wesley Chapel, Angela Campbell & husband Paul of Hoschton, GA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends at Loyless Funeral Home on Thursday Evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
