Obituary of Victorino Fernandez

Fernandez, Victorino “Victor”, Jr., 74 passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at his home. Victor was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was born in Tampa and has resided in Land O’ Lakes with his family for the past 11 years. His memberships included Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and the Sons of Italy, Tampa Lodge #1251. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Victor was a Sales Representative for Genuine Parts Company until his retirement in 1995. He is survived by his loving wife, of 53 years, Norma Escobio Fernandez; their three children, Ruben and wife Cheryl, Derek and wife Michele and Yvonne Sheets and her husband Jeff; seven grandchildren, Derek, Jessica, Sarah, Daniel, Kendra, Christina and Nicole; one sister, Holanda Cenal and husband Fausto; sisters-in-law, Margaret and husband David and Yolanda and husband Adam; along with several nieces and nephews. We know you are looking down on us in heaven and smiling. You are forever loved and will be dearly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery.
