Obituary of Joseph C. Dilimone

DILIMONE, Joseph C. “Mojo”, 60, of Lutz, Florida passed away May 12, 2019. He was born in Mountain Home, Idaho and moved to Florida in 1978. Joey was raised up as a military dependent of the Air Force. He graduated Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan in 1977. As a child, he always helped his father work on cars and later in life became a mechanic by trade. Joey had a great sense of humor, and was the life of the party. He was a happy-go-lucky guy who made others smile. His two favorite sports were basketball and baseball. His favorite college team was the Florida State Seminoles. Joey was an avid golfer, he liked to cook, and he enjoyed going hunting in Ohio, in his earlier years. Joey is survived by his parents, Joe and Betsy Dilimone; his uncle, Vincent Dilimone and wife Carol; brother, Robert Dilimone; nieces, Danielle A. Dilimone and Leah M. Dilimone. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 6:30pm at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’Lakes, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and a funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on May 22, 2019 at 10:00 am.
