Speare (Morrison), Kathleen "Kathy"

Kathy Speare, , passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at Advent Health Hospital, Wesley Chapel, Fl.  Born 4/24//1947, in Ayer, Mass., she was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mary (Kirey) Morrison, sisters Patricia Fish and Constance "Connie"  Goodall,

She had a successful career with the U.S. Government, before retiring and becoming a stay at home mom.  She found her true passion in working with children with Autism and Down Syndrome, which continued when she moved to FL.

Among her hobbies were cooking, reading, and she was an avid traveler, but her happiest place was Disney World, where she forgot all troubles.  She was a loving grandmother to Ava-Grace, who was her best pal.

She is survived by her husband, best friend, and love of her life,  Randall "Randy", they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage in June.  She is also survived by her daughter Christina "Chrissey" Flood (Jason) of Ocala, grandaughter, Ava of Ocala, daughter Tricia Filippone of OK, and many friends.  She was a stellar wife, mom, Grammy, and friend.  Heaven has gained a star.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:30 a,m Thursday,  April 11, 2024 at Bushnell - Florida National Cemetery.
