Obituary of Derald Johnson

Derald Johnson, 81, of Lutz, Florida passed away on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023.  He was born in Burlington, Iowa on September 27, 1941 and lived in Devils Lake, ND as a young child before he moved to Minnesota then eventually, he moved to Florida in 1980.  He spent his career as a self-employed courier.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Paula Johnson. 

Derald was a superfan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, he started following the Dodgers as a child since the team was in Brooklyn and continued following them through his life as they moved to Los Angeles. Derald is also a fan of the LA Rams football team. Every Saturday you could find Derald and his wife attending garage sales looking for treasures. He loved finding a bargain and any unique collectable items. Tennessee and Las Vegas were their favorite places to travel together. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
