Obituary of Muriel Brayton

Muriel Brayton, 85 of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away on March 8, 2023.  She was from Bath, New York and moved to Florida in 1991 from Connecticut. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Thomas Brayton; her parents, Perry and Thelma Field; and brothers, Richard, Robert, and Roger. She is survived in death by her sons Barry and wife Ellen of Lutz, Florida, Bryan of Los Angeles, California, and Bradley of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughters, Susan and her partner Meara of Eureka, California, and Sharon Zordan and husband, David of New Hartford, Connecticut; sister Linda Cook and husband, Patrick of Wasilla, Alaska; sister-in-law and high school friend Arlene Field; grandchildren, Patrick Schelah, Jacob Schelah, Archer Brayton, and Haley Zordan; and her 1^st great-grandchild which is due in May 2023. 

Muriel was a cosmetician.  She loved painting in her spare time.  She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, and camping.  She also love sailing and snow skiing.

There will be a celebration of life with a reception to follow on April 2, 2023 at 1 pm.  This will be held at the home of Barry Brayton.  Muriel will be placed at Florida National Cemetery on a later date. 

In lieu of flowers please plant a tree in the National Forrest in memory of Muriel.
