Obituary of Wesley Eugene McCutcheon, Sr.

Wesley Eugene McCutcheon, Sr., 85 of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away on March 6, 2023. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia and later moved to Florida in 1968. Wesley proudly served in the United States Army, where he later worked as a printing press foreman and union president for the Tampa Tribune. He was a member of Faith Outreach & Grace Community Church. 

Wesley was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed football and the outdoors. His favorite evening routine was a bowl of ice cream with his beloved wife. 

He is preceded in death by both his parents, three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by Betty McCutcheon and their 38 beautiful years of marriage. His sons: Wesley (Angie) McCutcheon, Jr., and Tony (Marie) Mundy. His daughters, Teresa M. Jones and Tina (Rob Worley) Whalen. As well as his sisters: Lucille Sellars, Eva Mae Harless and Pearl Gillenwater. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was a very dedicated father and the world's best Papa. 

A Celebration of Wesley’s Life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’ Lakes. There will also be a graveside service at Florida National Cemetery on March 24, at 2:30 PM.
