Obituary of Glenda Barr-Lopez

Glenda Barr-Lopez, 58, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away January 21, 2023. She was born in Turrialba, Costa Rica on July 14th 1964 to parents Jael and Sherman Barr. Glenda migrated to the United States from Costa Rica in 1976.

Glenda attended Stony Brook University where she graduated with a degree in Economics. She spent the majority of her professional career as a Management Information Systems Professional.

Glenda was beautiful, smart, kind and thoughtful. She was a loving mother, wife,daughter, sister and friend. Glenda was ever present in our lives, there was never a birthday or special occasion that she didn't remember. She loved to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of fortune. She loved her family.

Our hearts are broken by her passing. She will truly be missed. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents.

Glenda leaves to cherish her memory ,her loving husband of 30 years,Edward Lopez; Son, Matthew Alexander Grimes; Daughter, Glenda Adelina Lopez; Brothers, Sherman Barr,Guillermo Barr, Sherman Barr III and Mario Barr; Sisters, Viola Elie and Sharon Morgan. A host of nieces,nephews,family, friends and loved ones.
