Obituary of Teresa Ann Simons

Teresa (T) Ann Simons, 55 of Lutz, Florida passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022.  She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and moved to Florida as a young child.

Teresa was funny and charismatic, and enjoyed joking around and having fun. Teresa and her husband, Scott, liked to spend time at their newly renovated home and garden with their 2 fur babies, Hazel and Ford. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Simons of 18 years; son, Henry Tastet III; daughter, Kristyn Fuqua; sister, Pamela Diaz; niece, Deborah Santos; nephew, Ricky Diaz, and 5 grand-children, Jaylyn Tirado, Jolie Tastet, Elle Tastet, Henry Tastet IV, and Margot Tastet. 

She proudly worked for Publix Supermarkets for over 30 years and just recently retired in January 2022. She enjoyed much success and achieved several accomplishments in her career, including becoming the first female meat department manager in the history of Publix.
