Obituary of Anthony Kal Finley

Anthony “Tony” Kal Finley, age 47, of Tampa, Florida passed away on July 14, 2022. Tony was born in Logansport, Indiana on June 28, 1975. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1993. In 2002, Tony moved to Florida. There, as a small business owner, Tony helped many clients with his vast knowledge of pool maintenance and repairs, including servicing many local community commercial pools. Tony met Miriam Smith, of Tampa, Florida in 2006 and they were married on February 26, 2012.

If you ever met Tony, you knew how much he loved his wife and three children. His children were his everything: He was active in their lives, from coaching their baseball and softball teams, helping them with school, and taking them fishing. Tony was an avid fisherman and when he was not coaching or working, he was fishing. He was kind and selfless and always helped his neighbors when he could because he could literally fix anything!

Tony is survived by his wife, Miriam (Smith) Finley, and their three children, his brother Michael Finley, sister Joscena Finley, mother Donna (Williams) Finley and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Millard “Mike” Finley and his sister, Laricia Finley.
