Thomas E. Allen, 82, passed away peacefully June 4, 2022.  Thomas was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Land O Lakes Florida with his loving wife, Naomi Allen after retiring from Mitchell and Scott Machine Company.  He enjoyed golf, fishing, and many sports throughout his life. He was extremely fond of complex jigsaw puzzles and challenged himself with constant word puzzles.  He served his country by enlisting in the United States Airforce after graduation from Southport High School and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Naomi B Allen, daughter-Melanie Allen (William Lowrey), sons-Gregory (Jack Vivian), Sean (Stewart Hoertz), his stepsons; Gerald VanFossan, Kenneth (Judy) VanFossan, David (Lisa) VanFossan as well as many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as by his sisters, Carol Mock, Marcia Agresta, and his brother, Stephen. He was predeceased by his parents-Earl and Gladys Allen, sisters, Louisa Moore and Roberta Sponsel and his stepson Kevin VanFossan. He will be missed by all.
