Obituary of David James Byrnes

David James Byrnes, 86, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away on April 19, 2022.  He was born on December 5, 1935 in Rochester, New York, grew up in Buffalo, New York, and then resided in Miami, Florida for the majority of his life.

David had an Associate’s degree in Business from the University of Buffalo.  He was the proud owner of Graphics Ink Printing in Hialeah, Florida for 28 years until his retirement in Land O Lakes, Florida.  He worked in various roles of retail merchandising and management prior to that.

He was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Doris Byrnes, sister June Rose Byrnes and grandson Daniel Byrnes. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart, wife Margot to whom he has been married to for 62 years; four children, Scott Byrnes (Rhonda), Tammy Kinsey, John Byrnes (Nicole), and Kevin Byrnes; eight grandchildren, Nolan (Chelsea), Evan, Valerie, Tasia (Steven), Jessica, Tyler, Nickolas and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Bliss; his sister Nancy Wolstoncroft and several nieces and nephews.

David enjoyed the beach, traveling, and spending time with his family.
