Obituary of Lee Lon Williams

Lee Lon Williams, 75, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away April 18, 2022.  He was born February 8, 1947, in Lima, Ohio and lived in Kankakee, Illinois for over 40 years before moving to Florida in 2012 to retire and be near family.  He dedicated his life to following Jesus and was a member of CrossPointe Family Church of the Nazarene.  Prior, he was a member of Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene and an alumnus of Olivet Nazarene University. He was a devoted husband, father, Pappa and friend.  He was fiercely competitive and at the same time a gentle servant.  He enjoyed playing and coaching softball, bringing the best out of his team.  He was a general contractor for most of his career. He enjoyed using his skills to help others.  He was loved and will be missed by family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by one sister, Sue Fox, and one brother, Jim Williams II.  Lon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Ellen Williams; three sons, Brent (Miki) Williams, Brian (Janna) Williams, and Brandon (Bethany) Williams; one brother, Ray Williams; eight grandchildren, Ellis, Cole, Conner, Cade, Cody, Camden, Corban, and Keenan; several beloved nieces and nephews.
