Virginia Eicher

Obituary of Virginia Eicher

Virginia (Ginny) L. Eicher 6/18/1943 - 4/10/2022 resident of Jackson, MI and Lutz, FL passed away after a 50-year battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.  Ginny, age 78, was loved by many and preceded in death by father Cassell L. Pursell, mother Glenadine (Jerry) M. Pursell and brother Cassell C. Pursell.  Survived by her husband of 61 years Alan G. Eicher and children Vickie M. Dillon and Craig A. Eicher (William J. Mesis).  Grandchildren Cory L. Henion (Michelle), Carlie A. Morrow and Carrie M. Morrow.  Great-grandchildren Cooper L. Henion and Colt W. Henion.

Throughout her life, Ginny’s family and friends were her primary focus of her love and attention. She did not let daily pain of Rheumatoid keep her down.  She spent her life making great memories for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with camping trips, pool parties, dominoes, and teaching funny faces.  We could always count on her to attend her children and grandchildren’s extra-curricular activity no matter the weather or location to cheer them on.  Honoring her wishes, Ginny has been cremated with no formal service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Rheumatology Research Foundation, 2200 Lake Blvd NE Atlanta GA 30319 (rheumresearch.org) or St. Judes Children’s Hospital (stjude.org).
