Obituary of Kelley Marie Carney

Kelley Marie Carney, age 42, died Friday, December 17, 2021 following a 4-year battle with triple negative metastatic breast cancer. 

Kelley, a Michigan native, spent the last 7.5 years residing in the Florida sunshine. Formerly a nationally recognized CNA, Kelley had been attending school for Biotechnology Laboratory Technology until she had to begin receiving treatment for stage four breast cancer. She was an avid Detroit Red Wings & Tigers fan, & was a fantastic softball player. A super creative & crafty woman, Kelley was always creating new crafts or toys for her son, family, & friends. 

As a mother, Kelley was patient, gentle, sweet, kind, fun, honest, & adoring. Those who knew her will tell you that she was the kindest, funniest, bravest, most genuine & loving person.

Kelley is survived by her son William (5), her mother Kathy (John) Dodo, her sisters Jill (Hailie) Browne & Katie Carney, her brothers Billy Carney & Dan Carney, nephew Carver Browne & many cousins, aunts, & uncles. She is predeceased by her father, Patrick Carney.
