Obituary of Vivian Sue Ortega

Vivian Sue Ortega, 77, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, December 6th, 2021. She was born in Flint, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1960.  She was a proud USF alumni.  She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2002 after 30 years of service.  She was Catholic in Faith and attended St Mary’s Catholic Church in Tampa where she served as a Lay Eucharistic minister for the ill and home bound. Vivian was someone who loved volunteering her time at the old University Hospital and put in thousands of volunteer hours over the course of many years. 

Vivian is preceded in death by Her Husband: Genaro Ortega.  

She is survived by Her Son: Andrew Lopez; Her Daughter: Naomi Lopez; Son-in-Law: Neil Magana and two Grandchildren: Naia and Riley Magana; many Nieces, Great Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nephews.
