Obituary of Connie Reder

Connie Reder, 74 years, of Lutz, Florida passed away on November 6, 2021. She was born in Decatur, Texas and grew up in Blue Mound, Texas. Connie met and married Charlie Perkins in 1965, with whom she had their only child, Mimi, in 1970. Connie worked as an Executive VP for Alcon Laboratories in Ft. Worth, Texas until she and her family moved to Maud, Oklahoma in 1978, where she lived until 1988. While in Maud Oklahoma, Connie worked in banking and Town Government. 

Connie moved to Seminole Oklahoma in 1989, married Lloyd Reder in 1990 and moved to Florida to be close to his family. During her years in Florida, Connie was a very successful nail technician and finished her career as the Office Manager for Aesthetic Dsign Dental Lab, before retiring in November 2020.

Connie was Christian in Faith.

Throughout her life, spending time with family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling, reading and creating delicious foods were the joys of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Sinna Peel, Brothers Jim & Doug Peel and Sister Marie Day and husband Lloyd Reder. 

She is survived by her Life Partner of 25 years, Andy Blanchard; Daughter: Mimi (Shawn) Gordon; Stepchildren: Brenda Smith and Michael (Charlene) Blanchard; Brother:  Mark (Jeane) Peel; Sisters-In-Law: Evelyn and Sharon Peel; Grandchildren; Taylor (Matthew) Herrero, Ian (Grace) Smith, Brendan, Brady and Sarah; Great grandchildren: Maddox, Remi, and soon to be coming Riggs Herrero. As well as a host of other family and friends, whom she loved very much. Funeral Service at Loyless Funeral Home is scheduled with Visitation on Friday, November 12, 10:30 to 11:30, with Service at 11:30.
