Obituary of Nettie Lorine Bernd

BERND, Nettie Lorine, 102, passed away peacefully October 25, 2021. She led a very long and happy life surrounded by her loving family. She always felt she was so blessed to have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren whom she so adored and was so proud of. She and her wonderful sense of humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Lorine was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bernd, son and daughter in law Stephen and  Mary Tershansy , son Ronald Tershansy and grandson Christopher. She is survived by her daughter, Alani Kroeger (Skip),daughter in law, Sandy Tershansy Turner ;  grandchildren: Deirdre Newell (Dan), Jennifer Hess (Barry), Maralani  Diaz, Lauralani Ricardo, Meredith Gregory (Jansen), Greg Tershansy (Cate);  great-grandchildren: Adam, Brayden, Cailynn, Daniel, and Elliott Newell; Jordan, Brinsley, Juliana, and Beau Hess; Ryan, Austin, and Amanda Diaz; Aryn, and Ariana Ricardo and Alyssa Ricardo Rivera, (Michael); Jack Tershansy; Brooklyn Gregory.

Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation go out to all the staff at Angels Assisted Living at Idlewild for their guidance and support and mostly for their thoughtfulness in caring for our loved one.
