Obituary of Linda Dale Nelson

Linda Dale Nelson, 73, of Zephyrhills, Florida, Passed away August 21st, 2021. She was born August 8th, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee and lived all over the United States before moving to Florida in 2019 to be closer with her beloved family. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and Jesus with all of her heart. Linda spent her younger years being known as “Rabbit” in a trio of girls who were never apart, even through nursing school. They were “Rabbit, Fish and Bird” and they could always be found at the beach in Panama City or spending time on Coro Lake in Linda’s hometown of Memphis. Being from Memphis, she grew up loving Elvis and did so her entire life. Later in life, she enjoyed playing Bingo, taking trips to the beach and traveling to the “boat” or casino. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She chose a career in nursing and dedicated her entire life to caring for others while working as a nurse and then later retiring from that profession to care for her sister, Brenda, and Mother, Annie, at the end of their lives. That level of care and compassion would pale in comparison to the love she shared for her son and how proud she was to see the man she raised start a family. Linda is survived by her loving Son: Jimmy Hinchey, his Wife, Michelle, and their Son, Tyler, Her Nephew: Chuck Chamberlin and Her Cousin: Jeri “Bird” Simpson, and Her Sister and Brother-in-Law: Sandra and Fleet Chamberlin.
