Obituary of John Lewis Dowell

John Lewis Dowell 87, went to be with his Lord on August 23, 2021. He was born in Evansville, Indiana to Alvin and Catherine Dowell. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines and was a Golden Gloves Champion. John was the owner at Action Printing for over 25 Years and in his retirement years he took up gardening. He was a member of Lake Magdeline United Methodist Church, deeply involved for 35 plus years and leadership of the United Methodist Men. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; John is survived by his loving wife Betsy of 35 years; two daughters; three granddaughters, one grandson and numerous great grandchildren.
