Obituary of Richard Alan Cooper

Richard Alan Cooper, 66, of Land O Lakes, FL passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. Rick was born in New York and moved to Virginia to serve on the Virginia Beach Police Department for 16 years before retiring. In March of 2020, he moved to Florida to be with family. Rick was not only a devoted Yankee fan, but he loved to watch, play, and teach his granddaughter, Quinn, about baseball. He cherished spending time with her playing Zelda, gardening and teaching her how to fish. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 41 years: Marcia Cooper; Two Daughters: Colleen (Keith) Harrison and Meredith (Shawn) Price; Two Sisters: Barbara (Richard) Nelson and Cathy Kistulentz, and the love of his life- his Granddaughter Quinn. He was loved and will always be missed.
