Obituary of Ruby Martin

Ruby Martin, 83 of Odessa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was born in Tampa, was a bank teller for many years, an avid champion bowler (bowling multiple perfect games), enjoyed craft painting, getting her hair done and watching TV Westerns. In her early years, she also enjoyed hunting and made the best biscuits ever! Ruby was also a member of Keystone United Methodist Church in Odessa.

Ruby is survived by her sons, Cody (Kim) Martin, Lee Martin and his fiancée, Jody Smith; 2 grandchildren, Micajah Martin and Marina Martin. The family would like to thank her long-time caregiver, Pat Pierson for the gentle and loving care she gave to Ruby.

Ruby was predeceased by her son, Lance, husband, William, bother, James, Jr. and sister, Jewel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26^th at 1 o’clock pm at Keystone United Methodist Church 16301 Race Track Rd, Odessa, Florida 33556 with burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family has requested any memorial donations be made to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.

The family has entrusted Loyless Funeral Home with her services.
