Obituary of John R. Herridge, Jr.

John R. Herridge, Jr., 71, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away on February 16, 2021. He was born in Ballinger, Texas and moved to Florida in 1993.  John served in The United States Army Special Forces, later becoming  a computer programmer for Verizon Data Services. He was  a member of First United Methodist Church of Lutz and also a member of the American Legion Post #572 and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 457. He enjoyed Geocaching, Munzees and computers. He is preceded in death by his sister Karen Gunn; survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda Herridge; sons, John R. Herridge and Andrew S. Herridge; sisters, Carolyn Stover and Brenda Spavins; grandchild, Lucy Herridge; daughter in law, Vanessa Reyes, and nieces and cousins. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. John will be missed, but we will see him again in eternity.
