Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Dottie was always a bubbly and happy person - an absolute joy to be around. We attended the Saturday 4:30 p.m. mass and she always had lots to talk about before the service. She would always bring back a memento for my husband whenever she attended a Rays vs. Yankees game.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Young was like a second mom to me during my teenage years with Lisa. She was always smiling and always tried to make us comfortable, whether it was for sleepovers, trips up to the cabin, driving us to concerts, etc. One time she showed me how to make her meatloaf that I loved (it was Cream of Celery soup that she added, if I recall). Another time she scolded me (gently) for using too many paper towels because they were expensive. To this day, I remain vigilant about my paper towel use and never use more than I need. I will miss Mrs. Young's kind motherly nature and smiling face.

We will all dearly miss Dot. She was always the first to get us laughing and keep us laughing.
We made fun with her about her accent, especially how she said, "paton" (pattern) hahaha!
Dot was a fun and loving positive person and she will be missed for sure.
Love you Dot!

We met Dot because she was a member of my mom’s little church group at OLOR. These women all sat together at the Saturday evening mass and were very special to her. They also provided us with a lot of comfort when my mom died almost 3 years ago! She was a special lady with a happy, bubbly personality and a penchant for sewing. So glad we saved the special gifts she made for my mom as they will always remind us of her loving ways!

Sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one, Dottie. Dot was the first person to befriend me at OLOR church many years ago.We continued to sit together on Saturdays for the 4:30 mass and enjoyed the time before service started with chatter and laughter. This of course did not sit well with other attendees but we were not deterred. At the end of service, if the music was lively Dot and I would have a jolly good time. No one can take her place, she will be dearly missed. Rest in peace my friend and watch over us.

Fantastic picture of a beautiful lady showing her lovely contagious smile. Dot made every event fun giving us all a reason to laugh. In the art circle, we'll remember her flamboyant beach girly flamingo and treasure the time we had with her. Hugs and prayers for her family. Sandi Snow

Dot was one of the happiest, and funniest ladies I’ve ever known. I loved our HSN encounters. She bought a pair of beautiful sandals one time and every time she wore them she would strut up and down in front of me and ask how I liked them. One time she bought a skirt that had pants underneath and a slit up the side. She wore it to church one time and tried to flash the priest..of course those all around were in hysterics even the priest. I am so saddened that I will not be able to hear her call out my name any more when it’s my birthday or hear that Boston twang. I will truly miss your beautiful wife, mother and grandmother and may you all find comfort in this sweet sorrow. May God bless and comfort you.

That is a most beautiful picture of Dot. She was absolutely the sweetest woman. She always rode to the cigar store with Bob. He would hang out at my husband’s store & she would hang out at mine. She did the most beautiful quilts and always brought show & tell when she would visit. I will truly miss this beautiful lady.
