Joseph Wall

Obituary of Joseph Wall

Joseph Patrick Wall Sr, 74, passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 15, 2020. Joe was survived by his beloved wife, Denise Wall of 32 years, whom he loved deeply and treated with the utmost respect. He was an incredible example of how to treat people and how to have a strong, long-lasting relationship.

Joe was a dedicated family man who will be fondly remembered by his sons and daughters, Joseph Wall Jr, Joe Ventimiglia, Joy Valeski, Bill Wall, and Phil Ventimiglia, as well as, his grandchildren Matthew Baumann, Annalie Baumann, Zach Heuser, Jon Ventimiglia, Joseph Ventimiglia, Ashley Wall, Brennan Valeski, Andrew Ventimiglia, Claire Valeski, Timothy Heuser, Aiden Wall, Kiera Ventimiglia and Lisa Ventimiglia, as well as his sister, Maureen Huber.

Joe is now reunited with his father William Wall, his mother Mary Wall, and grandson Nico Ventimiglia, as well as many other cherished extended family and countless friends in their eternal life.

Joe was born and raised in Queens, New York, and was proud of his Irish heritage. He moved to Florida in 2005 where he quickly became a beloved friend to many. He was a hard worker who retired from his long career with Verizon as a splicer. He had strong faith and was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Rosary in Land o Lakes, Florida. He enjoyed many things with his friends and family, including traveling, going to shows, golfing and bowling. He was an avid reader and worked on crossword puzzles daily, and in his later years, he enjoyed surfing through YouTube. He was a true animal lover, there was not a pet in the world that did not return his affection.

Joe was a kind, selfless man. He was the type of man who would stop what he was doing to help anyone in need. He has opened his home several times to others in their time of need. In his last days he was more worried about his family then himself, he was even concerned that his buddy Stefan the cat was getting his treats. He has touched countless lives and will be missed greatly by many.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations in Joe’s name to Susan B. Komen Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, or any other charity.
