Obituary of Billy Ray Condrey

Tampa, FL resident Billy Ray Condey, 82, went to be with Jesus on September 21, 2020, at his
home with his wife and his daughter by his side. Bill was born June 18,1938, in Savannah, TN.
He was one of ten children and he had a twin sister. Bill learned great work ethics from his
father working on the farm. His work life was in food sales and he was very successful in
everything that he did. He served in the Army National Guard, he was a 32nd degree Scottish
Rite Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the United Methodist Church. Bill took up golfing with
his father-in-law when he was 35.They were avid golf lovers. After his wife learned to golf all
vacations were golf related. They loved going to Phoenix and Palm Springs to golf. Bill's other
talent was music. He played the guitar from the time he was 12 years old and he sang. In the
late 50's and early 60's, he was in a rock and roll band. He learned to play the piano when he
was 51 years old. Bill will be missed by everyone that ever knew him but we are happy that he Is
whole again and enjoying every minute of heaven. Bill is survived by his wife, Jane, of 52 years;
his daughter, Renee Smilee (Mike); granddaughter, Samantha Green (Trevor); great-granddaughters,
Eliie and Mia Green. Also surviving is his sister, Shirley Hammons (Glenn) and many nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Frank Condrey, 2 brothers and 6
sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 4 at 11 o'clock am at St. James United Methodist Church 16202 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Tampa 33647 with inurnment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family has entrusted care and services to Loyless Funeral Home.
