Dear Family, As you take today to remember dear Guy, please know that family up north, though out of touch far to long, remember him well. Guy was our cousin and we have many warm memories of him and all the Ferris’ from our childhood. Guy was full of life, his smile was infectious, his happiness apparent, his close bonds with his brothers enviable..... we all loved spending time with the Ferris’. They were charismatic and loving and we are so happy that Mark continues on. We’ve reconnected and are trying to foster new beginnings as we learn that time waits for no one. So please know, we wish for you today and always, happy memories, peace, love and the knowing that Guy is with you all always.

We were so sorry to hear of Guy's passing. I am his cousin and fondly remember all the family reunions when we all got to be together. Great times at Aunt Anna's in New York and then at Frank and DoIly's in Virginia. I wish we had been able to get together more often later in life.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Guy! My heart truly breaks for you and your girls. I met you both many years at the USTA playoffs in Daytona as opponents. You both made such a positive impression that here we are still in contact to this day. I remember Guy as friendly, fun and comfortable hanging with all of us crazy women. I have since followed your love for one another and family through facebook post. The love you all share is so real and such a blessing. Cherish all the memories and know we are praying for you all xoxo

I remember when Guy turned 50, Debbie got a picture of Guy, copies it numerous times and put it on a stick. She then surprised him with a limo and ; other couples. We road all around downtown Tampa with Guy on a stick”. He loved it; most phone birthday celebration ever!

Guy Ferri....many things come to mind when I think of this man. First and foremost was his smile. Genuine Happy Smirk that lit up a room. He was so full of life, love and character. Larger than life character. If you met Guy once, you knew instantly what kind of man he was, no pretense, just friendly, sincere and caring. You wanted to be his friend. You were drawn towards him... You were happy to be around him. He made you smile... So to know him was to Love him! He was a Wonderful husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, cousin, brother, co-worker, boss, leader, friend and INSPIRATION to many... to all...He left a great legacy for all to admire and learn from... RIP Guy Ferri... You may be gone from this Earth but will live on in the hearts of many... Love you.

Debbie, Felisha and I were crushed to hear this new. Guy was a light in all our lives, whether he was hosting a party and making sure we felt absolutely welcome or playing guitar and just as impressively, singing! I admired him tremendously. He was a role model of what a man, friend, father and husband should be. His curiosity and joy of life was contagious. While I am saddened he has left us far too soon, I am so glad that he lived life to the fullest, recognized his dreams and did it all with his own grace and style. He will be missed tremendously but, never forgotten. We love you guys. Peace to all of you. -Scott Kingsley

Debbie, you and the girls (and Danny) are in our prayers. As soon as we met Guy and you when Danny and Leigh Anne we’re getting serious we knew Danny was going to have amazing in-laws and we were going to have some amazing friends. Guy’s infectious love for life, fun, family and good times made a positive impact on everyone around him including us. He was an awesome Father-in-law to Danny and a great friend to us both. Our hearts are heavy with grief but full of happiness that we had great times together. We loved Guy and we will miss him very much.

Debbie and family, we were so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our cousin Guy.
Guy although our visits were not frequent, our get togethers were always special. Even at a young age, I looked up to you and Mark as older brothers. Our visits down to Virginia were epic (and in todays standards unlawful, lol). So many laughs. The whole family will cherish those memories.
You will be deeply missed as will your 100 yd smile. I hope you are strumming your box and sipping a tall margarita. God bless you and
prayers to Debbie and the girls.
