Obituary of Robert Pierce

PIERCE, Bob “Grand-Dad” 89 of Tampa, Florida passed away July 7, 2020 at the Melech Hospice House. He was born in Knoxville, TN on October 29,1930.  He was drafted into the Army on his 19^th birthday to serve his country in the Korean Conflict.  Dad retired as a Master Electrician after 34 years of proudly working at TECO.  He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything.  Dad was a die-hard University of Florida Gators football fan.  He is predeceased by the love of his life for 59 years, Ada Jean, his son Boe, and son-in-law, Brian. Survived by his son Robert, (Rae), daughter Laurie and his four grandchildren whom he was very proud of, Mackenzie & Madison Pierce and Wyatt & Pierce Grantham. We would like to thank Carrie & David Damaska of Grace House ALF for caring for and loving him like family these past two years. We would also like to thank the Garnett team of LifePath Hospice and the nurses at Melech hospice house for their generous care.
