Obituary of Jasmine Dixon

Jasmine “Jazzy, Jazz, Bubala” Marie Dixon, 25 of Wesley Chapel, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2020. She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Jamira Dixon; brother. Michael Dixon, Jr.; sister, Rachel Dixon, her maternal grandmother, Hilda Gonzalez-Ferrer and paternal grandmother, Rosalyn Dixon. Also surviving are her aunts, Jasmen (Manuel) Medina-Felix, Rosalind (Leroy) Wilkerson; uncles, David Cotto, Jose (Diane) Cotto and George (Tina) Dixon and their families.

Jasmine was an honorably discharged US Army veteran, attended Bridgeway Church, was a huge fan of Harry Potter and Universal Studios, loved animals, music, gardening, plants and especially the rare yellow jasmine flower. Jasmine was an eclectic personality and played piano, the French horn and was in the band; she loved rainbows and colors. Jazz was a true humanitarian, always trying to help others. She moved to Florida in 2003 from New York and had the brightest, most beautiful smile that lit up any room she was in. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2 from 11:30-1 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O'Lakes Blvd. Land O'Lakes, FL 34639 with a Celebration of Jazz's Life to be held at 3 pm at Bridgeway Church.
