Obituary of Denise Lynn Dreiling

Denise Lynn Dreiling, 59, of Wesley Chapel, Florida entered into eternal peace on Friday, May 22, 2020. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Encompass Health Rehabilitation hospital of Spring Hill for the love and care they provided to her during her short battle with cancer.

Denise was born in Berwyn, Illinois and grew up in the northwest suburbs of  Chicago.  Shortly after getting married in 1994, both Denise and her husband Joe moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and started their family.  It was only recently in 2016 she had moved to Florida.  

Denise graduated from Mount Mary College of Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1984 and started her long career as an occupational therapist.  While the medical field was her career, her focus and dedication were always her two children.  Her children’s passion for dance lead her to give innumerable hours of volunteering with all the dance studios the kids attended in North Carolina and Florida.  In her last years she gave countless hours towards the America's Ballet School and the nonprofit modern ballet company Tampa City Ballet.  Most recently she served as the wardrobe coordinator for both organizations.  She always made sure the little ones knew that she believed in them and made them feel like princesses. And she left an incredible impact with Tampa City ballet, always helping them and advocating for the arts in the community.

She is survived by her husband Joe of 26 years, her daughter Marena, and son Cole.

A celebration of life is being planned for later this summer.
