Obituary of Eric Jerome Pinder

Eric “Doc” Pinder, 58 of Tampa, passed away April 9, 2020. He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, was a retired US Navy Veteran and was still serving his country as a Senior Veterans’ Service Representative. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 34 years, Laticia; son Jeffrey; 2 daughters, Gelacia Pinder and Anjerica (Josh) Spires. Also surviving is his mother, Frankles Leachman; brothers, Loid, Terry and Cedrik; sisters, Anna and Ramona and his granddaughters, Amelia and Aleina Spires. Eric enjoyed fishing and going to the firing range, getting dressed up with his collections of hats and watches and being a member of the Philippine/American Association and attending Idlewild Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18 from 2:30-5 o’clock pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes, FL 34639 with Funeral Services to take place at the funeral home on Sunday, April 19 at 2 o’clock pm with Pastor Greg Murphy officiating. Due to the Covid19 restrictions, military honors cannot be rendered at this time, however, he will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery.
