Obituary of Mercedes Cabubas Sison

SISON, Mercedes Cabubas, 79, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020. She was born in the Philippines and came to America in search of greener pastures in 1963. She eventually settled in Detroit, Michigan where she worked as a registered nurse for Veterans Affairs Hospital. When she retired at 60 years of age, she returned home to the Philippines for a time. Mercedes is survived by her sister, Catalina; her brother, Dionisio Jr.; and many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
