Obituary of Ray McGeorge

Ray Douglas McGeorge, 67 of Zephyrhills, passed away February 21, 2020. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Tampa from there in 1974. He is survived  by his son, Timothy McGeorge; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Travis Larimore and two grandsons, William and Troy Larimore. Ray was a gun enthusiast, a member of the NRA and enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and bicycling. When he wasn't outdoors, Ray enjoyed cooking, genealogy, and researching his Scottish heritage. He was an avid fan of all Detroit sports - the Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings.  Ray was always finding interests to share with his grandsons, including RC trucks, model trains, Legos, and his love of music. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 27 from 3-4 pm with a Celebration of his Life to follow at 4 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O'Lakes Blvd. Land O'Lakes, FL 34639
