Obituary of Mamerta F Javier

JAVIER, Mamerta Fadrigo “Nene”, 80, of Tampa, Florida, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

She was born in Hamtic, Antique, Philippines and moved to New York in 1965.

In 2013 she came to Florida. Nene retired from banking customer service.

She loved the Lord and enjoyed prayer, going on pilgrimages and attending mass at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Tampa.

Nene was the eldest of eight children and because of her strength and determination, was able to immigrate to New York and lead the way for her family to follow their dreams and further their education in the United States.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

She is survived by six siblings, Cecilia, Alberto Jr, Celine, Jose, Andrea and Juliana; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Nene’s life will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15^th at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.

Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Her final resting place will be in the Philippines.
