Juan A. Garcia, son of the late Juan and Maria Garcia was born on February 27, 1935, in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020. He loved swimming in the ocean and listening to music.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of more than 58 years, Josefina. Juan and Josefina were married in New York City, New York. During their marriage, they were blessed with eight children and fostered more than 50 children. Upon retirement, Juan and Josefina relocated to Florida.

Juan’s legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Kathia Garcia-Crespo; John Garcia; Cynthia Garcia; Aida Garcia; John “Ramon” Garcia; Maria Garcia-Belton; Janet Lee Garcia; Abraham Garcia; and Joseph Garcia (late). Loving in-laws include son-in-laws Edward Crespo and Scott Belton; daughter-in-laws Linda Garcia and Edith Garcia; grandchildren include Kathy; Giancarlo; Adam; Noel; Emeka (late); Iris; Steven; Amy; Leonardo; Ramon; Jeannie; Priscilla; Armando; Alexa; Scott; Julius; Jervon; Isaiah; and Dean; two great grandchildren; four sisters: Crucita, Frances, Juanita, and Matilde; devoted family members include Madelyn Guerrero and Leslie Nunez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1 from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes, FL.
