Obituary of Charles R. Blanchard

BLANCHARD, Charles, 86, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away October 1, 2019. He was born in Tifton, Georgia, moved to Plant City, Florida at 21 years of age, and eventually settled in Land O’Lakes, Florida. Charles belonged to J. F. Swartsel Masonic Lodge NO. 251 F.& A.M. on Lutz Lake Fern Road. Since 1994, he was a master mason and remained one for over 24 years. His favorite activities included freshwater fishing, camping, tending to bird houses and his vegetable garden and especially, spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Blanchard; his only son of Inverness, Florida, Chuck Blanchard (Lisa); his four daughters of Spring Hill, Florida, Kathy Rhicard (Randy), Cindy Norvell, Judy Frenger (Bobby), and Karen Allen (Charles); his brothers, Lemmie J. and Don; sisters, Sandy Kay Stevens, Lottie Mae Lufsey, Betty Jean Lee, Diane Fields, and Joann Horn; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild expected to arrive in May.
