Obituary of Charles Silva
Charles Silva, 69 of Lutz, passed away August 17th, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Florida in 2017 from Rhode Island. He is survived by his mother, Anna Feliciano; son and daughter-in-law, Master Sergeant Charles and Melissa Silva; step-daughter, Christina; Life Partner, Mary medina; his brother, Sal and Victor and his sister, Maria. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Brionna, Nadia, Ally, Jay and Tatiana. Charles was a member of the Columbia Street Fathers and Sons Club, the Bohemia Track Club, the New York Road Runner Club and recipient of the prestigious JFK Memorial Citizenship Award in 1976. He also ran in the NY Marathon, and received medals in 1982, 1985 and 1991 and attended St. Timothy Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes 34639 with a prayer service beginning at 7 o’clock. A Funeral Mass will be offered at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. The family has entrusted care and services to Loyless Funeral Home.
