Leo D'Amore

Obituary of Leo D'Amore

Leo David (Dave) D’Amore, 69, passed away August 11th, 2019. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and devoted wife (“Dear” as he lovingly referred to her) of 50 years, Noreen D’Amore; his children, Donna Torr, Michael Ducksworth, Patti Cali and Mike Honoré. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Trey, Lexie, Rocco, Michela, Marina, Tiffany, Michael, Jr., and Kyla. Leo’s family would also like to acknowledge a close family friend, Gary Klaric, who became like a son to Leo. Leo was an honorably discharged Army veteran who also fought in the Vietnam War; and a millwright having worked at Sharon Steel in Pennsylvania and retiring from WCI Steel in Ohio. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, loved riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 2 o’clock pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. with military honors being rendered at that time. Leo’s family has requested that those attending the service please wear Cleveland Browns or Cleveland Indians colors or red, white and blue, as he was a casual guy who did not like to dress up. The family has entrusted services to Loyless Funeral Home.
